Employee matching and volunteer grants
The Scripps Howard Fund is interested in the causes that interest Scripps employees. Through the Bob Scripps Community Fund, we empower Scripps employees to maximize their service to nonprofit organizations through our volunteer gifts and their financial contributions to nonprofits through our matching gift program.

Scripps employees can apply for up to $1,250 twice annually to support organizations where they give their time and money. You decide how to allocate your gifts – all to volunteer gifts, all to matching gifts, or a portion of your match to each.

Application deadlines are May 31 and Nov. 30 annually.

Whether they work in Baltimore, Tampa, Milwaukee, Bakersfield or any town in between, one common thread unites Scripps employees: they do well by doing good. This certainly holds true in their work life – and the work they do in communities.

The Scripps Howard Fund is proud to showcase examples of how Scripps employees who give of their time and money to organizations they care about.

How to apply
Scripps Local Media general managers and National Media leadership can apply here. Applications are due by Nov. 30.
