Newsworthy For 50 years the Scripps Howard Foundation has touched thousands of lives in meaningful ways. It supports excellence in journalism, builds healthy communities and improves quality of life through support of educational programs, social services, arts, and civic affairs. Celebrate with us and view our 50th anniversary video.

The Scripps Howard Foundation strives to enhance The E.W. Scripps Company's interests in journalism and in its communities.

Through our Scripps Howard Awards, scholarships and internships for journalism students, mid-career fellowships for practicing journalists, a collegiate reporting competition, and more, the Foundation affirms the Scripps commitment to quality journalism.

The Foundation is finding new and exciting ways to touch the communities in which Scripps does business through charitable contributions from the Greater Cincinnati Fund and the Community Fund.
