Mark Koors, 60, is senior vice president of audit and compliance. He was director of treasury management from June 2008 to February 2010.
Mark spent the previous 14 years as a leader in the company’s Financial Service Center. From 1992 to 1994, he was the accounting manager in the cable television division. He spent his first two years at Scripps in the internal audit department after two years with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
He graduated from Northern Kentucky University and is a certified internal auditor who serves as a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mark is a former partner with Social Venture Partners, which gives member-funded grants to nonprofits. He is a volunteer with the Northern Kentucky Swim League and Kentucky Special Olympics, and is an official for the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and national USA Swimming. Mark is the current chair of the governance committee for the Ohio LSC of USA Swimming.
