Scripps to report third quarter results; Web cast of conference call available

Scripps Company will discuss third quarter 2002 operating results during a conference call Thursday, October 10, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. EDT.Scripps will offer a live audio Web cast of the conference call. Listeners need Real Player G2 or higher (download free at www.real.com) to access the call online.A limited number of dial-in lines for the conference call will be available to the media and general public on a listen-only basis.
