Suzanne D’Astoli Joins ABC15

(Phoenix)- Susan D’Astoli joins ABC15 News as Senior Executive Producer of Investigations & Special Projects.   Susan joins the award winning ABC15 Investigators- the largest investigative unit in the Valley, working year round to get results on stories that impact Valley viewers.  

This multiple Emmy award-winning journalist comes to ABC15 from WSB-TV in Atlanta where she was the Senior Executive Producer since November 2003.  Before this, she was an Executive Producer of Special Projects and Senior Producer also at WSB since May 1994. 

“Susan is accustomed to success in an area that is so important to our organization.  She’ll be a great addition to our team,” Joe Hengemuehler, ABC15 News Director said. 

Susan joins an ABC15 news team that is enjoying great successes over the past year.  The ABC15 Investigators recently received five Emmy Awards in the Investigative Report category for “Tread Secrets,” a story that revealed the safety secrets of one of America’s largest tire companies and resulted in a yearlong court battle taken all the way to the Supreme Court. 

ABC15 is also the most recognized Valley television station, receiving an unprecedented 67 Emmy Nominations and winning 33 Emmy Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards.  ABC15 is also the only Valley television station to receive two Edward R. Murrow Awards for Investigative Reporting and Overall Station Excellence.
