WEWS NewsChannel 5 Shred-A-Thon Returns

This Monday, October 15th, residents from Cleveland to Akron can safely shred their personal documents by participating in NewsChannel 5’s Shred-A-Thon.  NewsChannel 5 teamed up with Shred-It’s Cleveland and Akron branches to make it easier for people to protect themselves from identity theft.There is no cost and residents can take their personal documents to any of the following locations:

  • Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland: 6AM-6PM
  • Ganley Ford West, 16100 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland: 7AM-1PM
  • Ganley Dodge, 123 Broadway Avenue, Bedford: 11AM-7PM
  • Ganley Toyota Superstore, 1345 E. Market Street, Akron: 6AM-2PM

Consumer Specialist Angie Lau and Troubleshooter Joe Pagonakis will report live throughout the day from these locations, and the first 100 people to arrive will receive a NewsChannel 5 deluxe yardstick.
