Since 2008, Anderson, 37, had served as the HR director for the Scripps television division. She leads change management, employee relations, workforce planning and organizational design strategies for the 10 Scripps TV stations.

“Candace has been instrumental in implementing organizational changes across the television group,” said Brian Lawlor, senior vice president of the Scripps television division. “Her leadership style, coupled with her forward-thinking approach and strong employee relations background, make her the ideal business partner.”

In 2006, Anderson moved to Cincinnati to become the Scripps employee relations manager position. She joined the corporate office after spending six years as the HR leader at Scripps-owned KNXV in Phoenix. She previously served as HR director for New Planet Radio, LLC, in Arizona and Hawaii and New Century Arizona, LLC.

She holds a professional human resources certification and Bachelor’s degree in media arts from the University of Arizona-Tucson. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management.
